Floral Sunshine, Portland, OR 97212

It’s Sunday evening after Mother’s Day and my hands hurt! What a great Mother’s Day week! Floral Sunshine delivered flowers and smiles to mothers and grandmother’s all over Portland, Beaverton, Hillsboro, Tigard, West Linn, Lake Oswego, Wilsonville, and Milwaukie!

Whitney, Vanessa, Oliver (the fluffy dog) and I visited the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm today and also enjoyed the festivities of the Tulip Wine Down in Woodburn. We enjoyed the sunshine, acres of unbelievably beautiful tulips, Mt. Angel Sausage, and wines from the region. Our two favorites wineries were St. Josef’s and Hauer of Dauen. My favorite tulips that I saw at the Wooden Shoe were called “Queen of the Night” – what a deep rich purple color!

Floral Sunshine has moved out of its home studio and into a shared retail/work space in close-in NE Portland!  Now, physically located at 2805 NE MLK Blvd (by appt only, please) Portland, OR 97212 and sharing space with River Organics and Bespoken Beauty Bridal Boutique.

I apologize for the delayed blogging! It’s been a busy floral summer and another busy floral weekend. Wedding flowers delivered to the Aerie at Eagle Landing this morning and event flowers delivered to The Benson Hotel this afternoon! In the next few weeks, I plan to gather pictures from various weddings and events over the past several months and update my gallery with some highlights.

I wanted to share a couple photos taken by Mosca Photo of Virginia’s bridal bouquet that I made this past July. I can’t wait to get all the professional photos to add to my gallery!

Fun yellow bridal bouquet

Floral Sunshine was featured on “Style Me Pretty” (one of the top wedding blogs) in a yellow and navy inspiration, along with wedding planner Elizabeth Meehan and photographer Sara Gray.

I can’t believe that Thanksgiving is right around the corner!  It’s been a busy summer and also Fall.  For the months of September and October, I did 4 weddings each month, all very unique and beautiful.  I will continue to post pictures in the Gallery as I receive them.

Thanksgiving is definitely a time to reflect.  There is so much to be thankful for, and I appreciate all the love and support that I’ve received from my family and friends.  And to my clients, thank you for the opportunity!
